User Management

Manage all platform users including buyers, sellers, service providers, and other administrators.

Accessing User Management

  1. Go to Admin Panel
  2. Click "Users" in the sidebar
  3. View user list

User List

View Options

Toggle between views:

  • Table View: Detailed list format
  • Card View: Visual user cards

Creating Users

Adding New User

  1. Click "Add User"
  2. Fill in details:
    • Name
    • Email
    • Role
    • Initial password
  3. Set options:
    • Send welcome email
    • Require password change
    • Skip email verification
  4. Click "Create User"

Bulk Import

Import multiple users:

  1. Click "Import Users"
  2. Download template
  3. Fill in user data
  4. Upload completed file
  5. Review and confirm

Editing Users

Profile Information

Edit user profile:

  • Name
  • Email
  • Phone
  • Address
  • Company details

Role Changes

Change user role:

  1. Open user profile
  2. Click "Change Role"
  3. Select new role
  4. Add reason (optional)
  5. Confirm change

Role Change Impact

Changing roles affects user permissions immediately. Review impact before confirming.

Verification

Verification Levels

Manual Verification

To manually verify:

  1. Open user profile
  2. Click "Verification" tab
  3. Review submitted documents
  4. Click "Approve" or "Reject"
  5. Add reason for rejection (if applicable)

Seller Verification

Accessing Seller Verification

  1. Go to Admin Panel
  2. Click "Sellers" or "Verification Center" in sidebar
  3. Filter by verification status

Seller Verification Queue

Reviewing Seller Documents

  1. Click on seller name
  2. Navigate to "Documents" tab
  3. View document statistics and uploaded files
  4. Review each document:
    • Business registration
    • Tax certificates
    • Insurance documents
    • ID verification

Verifying Sellers

  1. Review all submitted documents
  2. Check document authenticity
  3. Verify business information

Seller Reviews

View seller reviews from the admin panel:

  1. Open seller profile
  2. Click "Reviews" tab
  3. Moderate inappropriate reviews
  4. View aggregate ratings

Trust Score

Sellers have a trust score based on:

Review Score+0-20 points

Suspending Users

When to Suspend

  • Violation of terms of service
  • Reported inappropriate behavior
  • Suspected fraudulent activity
  • Payment disputes

Suspension Process

  1. Open user profile
  2. Click "Suspend Account"
  3. Select reason:
    • Terms violation
    • Fraud
    • User request
    • Other
  4. Set duration:
    • Temporary (with end date)
    • Permanent
  5. Add notes
  6. Confirm suspension

Suspension Effects

  • User cannot log in
  • Listings hidden from public
  • Messages paused
  • Subscriptions paused

Lifting Suspension

  1. Open suspended user
  2. Click "Lift Suspension"
  3. Add reason
  4. User account restored

Deleting Users

Soft Delete

Hides user but preserves data:

  1. Open user profile
  2. Click "Deactivate"
  3. Confirm action

Hard Delete

Permanently removes user data:

Warning

Hard delete is permanent. All user data, listings, and messages will be lost.

  1. Open user profile
  2. Click "Delete Permanently"
  3. Type confirmation phrase
  4. Confirm deletion

Data Retention

Before deletion, consider:

  • Export user data
  • Archive important listings
  • Transfer ownership if needed

User Activity

Login History

View user login history:

  • Date and time
  • IP address
  • Device/browser
  • Location (approximate)

Action Log

Track user actions:

  • Listings created/edited
  • Messages sent
  • Profile changes
  • Purchases

Admin Notes

Adding Notes

Add internal notes about users:

  1. Open user profile
  2. Click "Notes" tab
  3. Click "Add Note"
  4. Enter note content
  5. Save

  3. Generate complete data package
  4. Provide to user
