Menon Mobility helps you organize your vehicle search with a favorites system and powerful comparison tool. Use these features to track interesting vehicles and make informed decisions.

Favorites

The favorites feature lets you save listings for later review, creating a personalized shortlist of vehicles you are interested in.

Adding Vehicles to Favorites

Add vehicles to your favorites list in several ways:

From Search Results:

1. Hover over any listing card
2. Click the heart icon in the top-right corner
3. The heart fills in to indicate the vehicle is saved

From Listing Page:

1. Open the full listing details
2. Click the Add to Favorites button (heart icon)
3. Vehicle is added to your favorites list

From Compare View:

1. While comparing vehicles
2. Click the heart icon on any vehicle card
3. Save interesting vehicles from your comparison

Quick Access

The heart icon in the navigation bar shows a notification badge with your favorites count and provides quick access to your list.

Viewing Your Favorites

Access your saved favorites:

1. Click the heart icon in the navigation bar
2. Or navigate to Account > My Favorites

Your favorites page displays:

• All saved listings in a grid layout
• Total count of saved vehicles
• Quick access to each listing
• Pagination for large lists

Managing Favorites

Removing from Favorites:

• Click the filled heart icon on any saved listing to remove it
• Removal is instant - no confirmation needed

Sorting Favorites:

• By date added (newest/oldest)
• By price (low to high / high to low)
• By year (newest/oldest)

Filtering Favorites:

• Search within your favorites
• Filter by category or price range

Price Change Alerts

Get notified when prices change on favorited vehicles:

1. Add a vehicle to favorites
2. Enable price alerts in your notification settings
3. Receive email notifications when:
   • Price is reduced
   • Listing is updated
   • Vehicle is marked as sold

Availability

Some favorites may become unavailable if the seller removes the listing or marks it as sold. These will be indicated in your list.

Sharing Favorites

Share your favorite vehicles:

1. Open your favorites list
2. Click the Share button
3. Choose sharing method:
   • Copy link
   • Email
   • WhatsApp

Privacy

Shared favorites links do not reveal your personal information, notes, or account details.

Recently Viewed

In addition to favorites, Menon Mobility tracks your recently viewed listings:

Accessing Recently Viewed:

1. Go to Account > Recently Viewed
2. Browse your viewing history

Features:

• Automatic tracking - no action needed
• Chronological order (most recent first)
• Quick return to listings you browsed
• Helps find listings you forgot to save

Compare Tool

Compare up to 4 vehicles side-by-side to make informed decisions. The comparison tool highlights differences and helps you evaluate options.

Adding Vehicles to Compare

From Search Results:

1. Hover over a listing card
2. Click the compare icon (bar chart)
3. Vehicle is added to comparison tray

From Listing Page:

1. Open the vehicle details
2. Click Add to Compare button
3. Vehicle appears in the comparison bar

From Favorites:

1. Open your favorites
2. Click the compare icon on vehicles you want to compare
3. Up to 4 vehicles can be compared

Compare Bar

When you have vehicles selected for comparison:

• A floating Compare Bar appears at the bottom of the screen
• Shows thumbnails of selected vehicles
• Displays count (e.g., "Compare (3/4)")
• Remove vehicles by clicking X on their thumbnail
• Click Compare Now to open full comparison
• Click Clear to remove all

Minimum for Comparison

You need at least 2 vehicles to perform a meaningful comparison. The Compare Now button activates when 2+ vehicles are selected.

Comparison View

The full comparison view displays vehicles side-by-side with detailed specifications.

Header Row

• Vehicle photo with gallery navigation
• Title (clickable to view full listing)
• Price with currency
• Condition badge
• Remove button (X)

For Standard Vehicles:

Specification	Description
Year	Manufacturing year
Mileage	Odometer reading in km
Fuel Type	Diesel, Electric, etc.
Power	Engine power in HP
Transmission	Manual, Automatic, Semi-automatic
Emission Class	Euro standard
Axle Config	Drive configuration (4x2, 6x4, etc.)
GVW	Gross Vehicle Weight
Cab Type	Day cab, Sleeper, etc.
Color	Exterior color
Country	Location country

For Industrial Equipment:

Specification	Description
Year	Manufacturing year
Operating Hours	Hours of use
Fuel Type	Power source
Power (kW)	Power output
Color	Unit color
Country	Location country

Comparison Features

Highlight Differences:

• Toggle the "Highlight Differences" checkbox
• Rows with different values are highlighted
• Easily spot what distinguishes each vehicle

Visual Indicators:

• Checkmark icon for "Yes" values
• Dash icon for "No" values
• Clear display of all specifications

Missing Information:

• Displays dash (—) for unavailable data
• Helps identify information to request from sellers

Comparison Actions

From the comparison view, you can:

Action	Description
View Full Listing	Click vehicle title to open details
Remove Vehicle	Click X to remove from comparison
Add to Favorites	Save vehicle from comparison
Contact Seller	Open messaging for any vehicle
Clear All	Remove all vehicles from comparison
Browse Listings	Add more vehicles if slots available

Empty Slots

The comparison shows 4 slots:

• Filled slots show vehicle cards
• Empty slots show "Add Vehicle" placeholder
• Click Browse Listings to find more vehicles

Best Practices

Organizing Your Search

Use Favorites Strategically

Save all potentially interesting vehicles to favorites first. You can remove them later, but you will not lose listings you were considering.

Compare Similar Vehicles

For best results, compare vehicles of similar type and price range. Comparing a 2020 tractor unit with a 2015 excavator may not be useful.

Note Key Differences

When comparing, make note of key differences like:

• Price relative to specifications
• Year and mileage ratio
• Included features
• Seller ratings

Making Decisions

Prioritize Your Needs

Before comparing, list your most important criteria:

1. Must-have features
2. Nice-to-have features
3. Deal-breakers

Use the comparison to evaluate each vehicle against your priorities.

Consider Total Cost

Look beyond listing price:

• Delivery costs (check seller location)
• Vehicle age and expected maintenance
• Fuel efficiency differences
• Warranty or guarantee included

Keeping Track

Regular Review

Periodically review your favorites list:

• Remove sold vehicles
• Delete no-longer-relevant options
• Prioritize your top choices

Document Your Research

Use messaging with sellers to ask questions, then reference the conversation when making decisions.
