Registration Guide

Creating an account on Menon Mobility is quick and straightforward. This guide walks you through the entire registration process, from choosing your account type to completing your profile.

Before You Begin

Before starting registration, have the following ready:

For Individual Accounts:

  • Valid email address
  • Phone number for verification
  • Profile photo (optional but recommended)

For Business Accounts (Sellers/Service Providers):

  • Business email address
  • Company registration documents
  • Business logo
  • Tax ID / VAT number

Choosing Your Account Type

Menon Mobility offers three primary account types. Choose the one that best fits your needs:

Can't Decide?

Start with a Buyer account - you can always upgrade to a Seller account later without losing your data or activity history.

Step-by-Step Registration

Step 1: Navigate to Registration

  1. Visit menonmobility.byredstone.com
  2. Click the "Register" or "Sign Up" button in the top navigation bar
  3. You'll be taken to the registration page

Step 2: Enter Email and Password

Create your login credentials:

Password Requirements

Your password must contain:

  • At least 8 characters
  • At least one uppercase letter (A-Z)
  • At least one lowercase letter (a-z)
  • At least one number (0-9)
  • Special characters recommended (!, @, #, $, etc.)

Step 3: Select Account Type

Choose your account type from the available options:

Buyer Account

  • Free to create
  • Immediate access to search and browse
  • No business verification required

Seller Account

  • Requires business information
  • Choose subscription plan (Free tier available)
  • Verification may be required

Service Provider Account

  • Requires business information
  • Service-specific details needed
  • Verification typically required

Step 4: Personal Details

Enter your personal information:

Step 5: Phone Number Verification

Your phone number must be verified:

  1. Enter your phone number with country code
  2. Click "Send Verification Code"
  3. You'll receive an SMS with a 6-digit code
  4. Enter the code in the verification field
  5. Click "Verify"

Didn't Receive the Code?

  • Wait 60 seconds before requesting a new code
  • Ensure your phone number is correct
  • Check if your phone can receive SMS
  • Try the voice call option if available

Step 6: Company Details (For Sellers)

If registering as a Seller, you'll need to provide business information:

Service Provider accounts require additional information:

Step 8: Accept Terms and Conditions

Before completing registration, you must review and accept:

  • Terms of Service - Platform usage rules and guidelines
  • Privacy Policy - How we collect, use, and protect your data
  • Cookie Policy - How we use cookies and tracking
  • Seller Agreement (Sellers only) - Listing and sales terms
  • Service Provider Agreement (Service Providers only) - Service terms

Read Carefully

We recommend reading these documents carefully. They contain important information about your rights and responsibilities on the platform.

Step 9: Submit Registration

  1. Review all entered information for accuracy
  2. Check the boxes to accept terms and policies
  3. Complete any CAPTCHA verification
  4. Click "Create Account" or "Register"

Email Verification

After submitting your registration, you must verify your email address.

Verification Process

  1. Check your inbox for an email from noreply@menonmobility.com
  2. The email contains a 6-digit OTP (One-Time Password) code
  3. Return to the website and enter the code
  4. Click "Verify Email"
  5. Your email is now verified

Account Limitations

Until you verify your email:

  • You cannot create listings (Sellers)
  • You cannot contact sellers (Buyers)
  • You cannot accept bookings (Service Providers)
  • Some features will be restricted

Troubleshooting Email Verification

Didn't receive the email?

  1. Check your spam/junk folder
  2. Add noreply@menonmobility.com to your contacts
  3. Wait a few minutes - emails may be delayed
  4. Click "Resend Verification Code" on the verification page
  5. Ensure you entered your email correctly during registration

Code expired?

  • Verification codes expire after 15 minutes
  • Request a new code by clicking "Resend Code"
  • Use the new code within 15 minutes

Wrong email address?

  • Contact support to update your email
  • You may need to create a new account with the correct email

Completing Your Profile

After verification, complete your profile to unlock all features and build trust:

Adding a Profile Photo

Profiles that are 100% complete receive 3x more inquiries than incomplete profiles.

Professional Presentation

Use professional language in your descriptions. Avoid ALL CAPS, excessive punctuation, or informal language.

Regular Updates

Keep your profile information current. Update your phone number, email, and business details if they change.

Verification Badges

Complete additional verification steps to earn trust badges that increase your credibility:

  • Verified Email - Email confirmed
  • Verified Phone - Phone number confirmed
  • Verified Business - Business documents submitted
  • Premium Seller - Premium subscription active

Social Login Options

You can also register using existing accounts:

Google Sign-In

  1. Click "Continue with Google"
  2. Select your Google account
  3. Authorize Menon Mobility access
  4. Complete any additional required fields

Facebook Sign-In

  1. Click "Continue with Facebook"
  2. Log in to Facebook if needed
  3. Authorize Menon Mobility access
  4. Complete any additional required fields

Social Login Notes

  • Social login creates a Buyer account by default
  • You can upgrade to Seller after registration
  • Your social account password remains unchanged
  • You can add a password later for direct login

After Registration

Congratulations on creating your account! Here's what to do next:

For Buyers

  1. Start searching for vehicles
  2. Set up search alerts
  3. Save interesting listings to favorites
  4. Contact sellers

For Sellers

  1. Set up your seller dashboard
  2. Choose a subscription plan
  3. Create your first listing
  4. Invite team members (if applicable)

For Service Providers

  1. Complete your provider profile
  2. Add your services
  3. Configure availability
  4. Set up payment information

Account Security

Protect your account with these security features:

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA)

Enable 2FA for additional security:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Security
  2. Click "Enable Two-Factor Authentication"
  3. Choose your method:
    • SMS verification
    • Authenticator app (Google Authenticator, Authy)
  4. Follow the setup instructions
  5. Save your backup codes

Session Management

Monitor and control active sessions:

  1. Go to Account Settings > Security > Active Sessions
  2. View all devices logged into your account
  3. Click "Sign Out" to end any suspicious sessions
  4. "Sign Out All Devices" for complete security reset
